IRIS Networks Colocation Service Description

IRIS Networks offers carrier-grade colocation services designed for telecommunications providers and enterprise customers seeking secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure. Our colocation product provides dedicated rack or sub-rack units, robust power options, and industry-standard environmental controls, all within professionally managed facilities across our network footprint.

Service Features
Space & Power
• Flexible options: Up to a Full Rack ($1,500/month). Full Rack availability may vary by site.
• Power delivered via A and B redundant DC feeds, with initial DC Power @50A and additional DC Power @10A increments.
• AC Power is available and quoted per customer requirements in the Service Order Agreement.
• All DC power is protected by on-site battery plants and generator backup.
• Specific customer needs beyond the standard arrangement will incur additional costs.
• Space and Power are subject to availability.

Cross-Connects
• Direct connectivity to IRIS Networks or third-party providers via cross-connects.
• Meet-me room or joint-use fiber panel available for interconnection, subject to facility configuration and provider approval.

Dispatch Labor
• Escort services and other labor performed by IRIS Networks are billed as follows:
o Normal business hours (Mon–Fri, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., excluding holidays): $150/hour
o Off-business hours (Mon–Fri, 5:00 p.m.–8:00 a.m., weekends, holidays): $250/hour (two-hour minimum outside business hours)
• Labor hours billed in one-hour increments;
• Expedited service with less than 4 (four) hours’ advanced notice will incur the Off-business hours rate.

Facility Specifications
• Power: 50 amps 48V DC A&B feeds, battery backup for a minimum of four hours, generator on-site with auto-transfer and full monitoring.
• HVAC: Self-contained, redundant units; temperature maintained at 72°F (±5°F), humidity at 45% (±15%).
• Security & Alarms: 24/7 monitoring, early smoke detection, fire suppression systems compliant with state and local regulations.
• Grounding: Provided for all equipment spaces.
• Reliability: Generator fuel supply supports a minimum of 24 hours of continuous operation, with refueling arrangements for extended outages.

Access & Operations
• 24/7/365 access to equipment space, with escorted access as required by facility ownership.
• Equipment space is for installation, operation, and maintenance of communications equipment only; not for business operations or personnel housing.
• Installation and related work in a safe manner consistent with the Equipment manufacturers’ specifications, industry installation standards, and other requirements provided by IRIS Networks.
• Keep the installation areas safe and orderly at all times; and upon completion of installation, leave the Premises clean and free from all of its materials, tools, and equipment not required after installation and from all rubbish and debris which result from installation.
• All equipment must be labeled and maintained by the customer; IRIS Networks maintains the facility infrastructure and is responsible for safety conditions in the areas of work performance at all times.
• All customer equipment is to be standard within the industry and be NEBS compliant.
• Equipment is not allowed if part of the Covered List is published by the FCC’s Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau, pursuant to the Secure and Trusted Communications Networks Act of 2019.

Service Terms
• Monthly recurring charges are billed in advance, with the first month pro-rated.
• Annual increases: Rack and cross-connect charges increase by 3% per year; power charges increase by the greater of 5% or the actual local provider rate increase; dispatch labor rates adjust annually per Bureau of Labor Statistics data.
• Minimum occupancy term and renewal options are specified per the Service Order.
• Customers are responsible for installation, maintenance, and removal of equipment, as well as compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Equipment remaining over 120 days from the date of termination or the lease end date will become the property of IRIS Networks.

Environmental & Reliability Standards
• Facilities adhere to telecommunications industry standards for grounding, lightning protection, fire suppression, climate control, and security.
• IRIS Networks ensures continuous power supply, environmental systems maintenance, and prompt notification of planned outages or interruptions.

Additional Terms
• Customer shall refer to the IRIS Networks Terms and Conditions of Service for Standard https://irisnetworksusa.com/terms-and-conditions-of-services/ which will apply to this product.
• Customer must maintain, at a minimum, umbrella excess liability insurance ($3M per occurrence), employer’s liability ($500K per occurrence), and general liability ($2M per occurrence), naming IRIS Networks as an additional insured. Certificates of insurance must be provided before installation and maintained throughout the term.
