iRis Networks is looking for a Business Development Representative to join our sales team. As we continue to expand in the Knoxville area, we are looking for new team members. Create your own future while furthering your connections and relationships with your clients. This is a quota-carrying salaried position that includes an uncapped commission structure. iRis Networks is a business-to-business internet service and telecommunication service provider.
What you will do:
- Prospect and develop new accounts in the Small and Medium sized business vertical in Knoxville and Oak Ridge.
- Hold face-to-face and Teams meetings with prospective customers to understand their needs and how iRis Networks can help solve issues they may be facing.
- Distill the essence of our service in easy-to-understand terms and communicate to various prospective client’s iRis Networks’ value proposition.
- Evaluate prospects against established criteria – route qualified opportunities, communicating relevant information about the opportunity.
- Close business at or above quota level.

- Interest in technology and expanding your industry knowledge.
- Proficient with a modern sales software stack (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and excited to learn new tools as we implement them.
- Positive sales record with bachelor’s degree preferred.
